How do I book a photo session with HMPhotography?

The best way to book is by submitting a request through our Quote Page for our standard packages. If you have a unique request or need a custom session, please use the Bespoke Form instead.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to ensure we can accommodate your preferred date and time.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If I determine that the weather (e.g., heavy rain) is unsuitable for a quality photo session, I will happily offer a free reschedule to a new date.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Clients are allowed one free reschedule. Any subsequent reschedules will incur a £20 fee.

How does payment work?

Once you've received your quote and we have confirmed the session details via email, I will send you a bank transfer request for payment.

The Photo Session

Where will the photo session take place?

I let the client decide! We can work together to choose a location that is special to you and your dog, whether that's a favourite local park or a comfortable spot in your own home.

How should I prepare my dog for the session?

For the best results, it's helpful if your dog is well-trained. On the day of the shoot, please ensure your dog has had a good walk and enough playtime to burn off excess energy. Bringing their favorite treats and toys is also a great idea.

What if my dog is nervous or won't sit still?

Don't worry! With experience owning over 10 dogs, I am skilled at adapting to each dog's unique personality and needs. We'll take breaks and use various methods to ensure they feel comfortable and happy, resulting in natural, beautiful photos.

My dog needs to be on a leash. Will this be a problem?

Not at all. I can expertly edit out leashes from the final photos, ensuring your images look natural and beautiful without compromising your dog's safety.

After the Session

When will I receive my photos?

You can expect to receive a link to your private online gallery with all the final images within two weeks of your photo session. The number of images you receive depends on the package you choose.

Can I print the photos myself?

Yes! You will receive full printing rights to your images, allowing you to print them yourself at your preferred lab.

Do you offer prints or albums?

I currently do not offer physical products. All final images are provided via a secure online gallery for you to download.
